Eric Schmidt to Step Down as Google CEO in April

He is also announcing that the running of the company will turn to Larry Page April 4. In a fourth quarter earnings call that featured in the beginning some comments from Eric Schmidt, Larry Page and Sergey Brin about leadership restructuring, the outlook and overall strategy seems to be in a good place for the company. 2010 was an excellent financial year for Google, and a fantastic fourthquarter.
